Hi, thanks for your previous help…I have another question which I suspect is not a simple issue…

I have created categories on my site (Attitude Pro theme) and would like to customise the category page to change how the posts are displayed (the layout has a right sidebar and I would like the posts to fill the remaining left-hand content area with one full width “feature” post at the top followed by the remaining posts in 2 equal columns). Do I need to create a custom template for the category page (and where would i do this)? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

@rickanderson The best way would be to create a child theme. Look for the attitude_theloop_for_archive function in the parent theme. Copy it all and paste it in the functions.php file of the child theme and make your customization there.
