    Hi, a few things:

    1. I had my theme set to narrow but there are too many links so I changed it to wide. However it seems the top menu is not adjusting to fit the wide template.
    2. Once on wide, my template lost the background. I see this was an issue with someone else so I followed the steps (i.e. made it narrow, removed the bg image and went back to wide) but it is still not displaying the background color.
    3. in your demo, what size is the template set to? wide or narrow?

    Thanks,
    Hayley

@hayld 1. Though you set the wide or narrow layout the menu will cover the 978px and it will be center aligned. We have designed the theme that way.
    2. For the wide layout the background will be ineffective as the content are will cover the whole width. The background will only be used if narrow layout is selected.
    3. In our demo we are using the narrow layout.

Thanks for your answer but please look at this site: http://fpp.capetownretreat.com
I have set to narrow but for sure the template is narrower than 978. I made my first slider image 1038×350 but it seems to have reduces it??
It seems that the template is stuck on 600 something.
    Thanks,

@hayld It looks like you have set the default layout setting to one column. In the dashboard, go to Appearance->Theme Options->Design Options Tab->Default layout option. Choose other layout than the one column layout and click on ‘Save all Changes’.
    Hope this helps.
