We updated to 1.7 and now the dashboard is having the same issues again.
Please advise…
September 17, 2014 at 6:31 pm #16174VincentMemberHow many versions are we expecting in the next year? I just got 1.6 a couple days ago to solve the dashboard problems with wordpress 4.0 upgrade. What does 1.7 do?
Every time we upgrade it is not seamless. Headers, background images and other things have to be dealt with. Can we have a stable template or get our money back?

We have update our theme compatible to WordPress 4.0 and disable some function that make error for the site.
Login to our site with the same username and password while you have purchase the theme and download the latest version of the theme.
If you have still one year subscription you will have access to the download the update file

If you have upgrade 1.7 version then this update notifier error should be removed. If still facing the problem then please send your temporary username and password at [email protected]

Version 1.6 is for the latest version of revolution slider that we packed in theme zip. There is some problem in Revolution Slider so we have provided you the latest version of Revolution Slider.Version 1.7 is to fix the error in dashboard. There is error in update notifier file. So we upgraded it to version 1.7 with this issue fixed.
One thing if you have customised the code then the customisation code in Headers, background images and other things else then your customisation code will be lost. If there is no customisation in code then you will not lose any data while upgrading. This is the stable template as always.
If you have customised the code then first make the child theme and unhook the functions. Then only customise the code. Then there will be no change of loosing data while upgrading to our new version.

I was considering purchasing your new theme but I’m having second thoughts now. If you have to log into my admin panel to sole this problem, that’s a bit of a concern.

September 18, 2014 at 6:46 pm #16253VincentMember1.6 upgrade fixed the dashboard problem. You are saying 1.7 fixes that…but I’m not sure if I should upgrade or not since you are saying it does what 1.6 did.
An upgrade still needs attention even if you don’t change the code as you say. So far, I am finding you have to replace header and background images after an upgrade. I have just started three sites with this template and really worried about going too deep with this and finding out how much more I have to tend to every time we get a new version.
I’m also worried that I see so many frustrated people like myself posting here with so many problems. Also I’ve seen more than once where you want to have someone give you their log-in information. I for one will never do that.
Just so you will know I’m not all negative on your team. I will say as far as adjustments through the custom css everyone has been of great help through this forum.

September 29, 2014 at 3:50 pm #16797PabelaMemberSince I’ve updated the theme I face two huge problems. 1st) I’m not able to save any changes in widgets or personalization. 2nd) last posts are not showing in home page, I can access to them copying and pasting the url in my browser but visitors can’t see the latest post. I’m really disappointed with this premium theme!! When I used the free version I never had problems!! How’s that possible!?

There may be some plugins conflict. At first please deactivate all the plugins and check it once. Whether it works or not. If still there is some problem then just create a new post and post in this forum.
