For some reason I’m having an issue with my images with the WP Retina 2x plugin. If I ‘deactivate’ it to forego the retina display option completely, I don’t seem to be able to add an image to my site either. Is it required to use the plugin with the Clean Retina (Premium)?
WP retina 2x plugin is just a recommended plugin for our theme. Image uploading feature should work fine with or without WP retina plugin being installed. You can ask the plugin author as they might give you better solution if their is really any issue with the plugin
