WebmasterParticipant
Thank you for your quick response. That code worked.
Is there a reason why the permalink for the image file would not work in this situation?
I’m trying to learn all I can so that I will be able to understand how to do things like this in the future.

WebmasterParticipantThanks for that information, but I’m still unsure of some things.
The code you suggested above was:
.featured-slider .featured-image {
padding: 10% 0;
}Where does the information setting the size go in that line of code?
And where exactly in the CSS file should the additional lines of code be inserted? Do this replace another line that begins “.featured-sider …” or is this in addition to the lines of code that are already in the CSS file?WebmasterParticipantI would also like to reduce the image height for the images in the slider on my website. In fact, I would like to set the image size for the slider the same as you recommend for your header images, 1170×300. I see in the thread above that you have offered some custom code to insert in the CSS. But I don’t see in that code where the image size for the slider is set. And I’m not sure where you would insert these lines of code in the overall CSS file. Could you elaborate on that? Thanks.

WebmasterParticipantI have the same question and was hoping the answer would be in this thread. But I see James never responded when you asked him what width he wanted his sidebar to be set at.
I don’t know if I can tell you in pixels, but on the site I’m developing with Ambition Pro, it appears the main column is about twice the width of the sidebar column. That means the sidebar column is set to about 50 percent of the pixel width as the main column.
I would like to be able to see how the page looks with the sidebar column more like 40 percent of the main column, and also 35 percent. I believe one of those two options would get the width of the sidebar down to where I want it.
Thanks for your assistance.

WebmasterParticipantI also would like to accomplish moving the header image below the top nav/logo. Is this something that can be done by editing CSS, or is this more involved? Is there a way for me to communicate with Carrie to find out if she ever hired a developer to do it? And if I were to modify this, what would happen to the modification if you update the theme?
Does Theme Horse offer code development on a per hour basis?

I created a new menu, chose to add a link for Facebook and named the link, but when I saved the new menu and said it was a Social media menu, i don’t see it showing anywhere on my home page.
