PoEdit is free of cost in the Open Source Version. Only the Pro-version cost money.
http://poedit.net/The free version is all you need for translation.
KaiParticipantHi,
in German, that works fine. I edit the file de_DE.po with PoEdit 1.03.
All texts can be translated.
See http://cms.rethorn.deGreetings
KaiKaiParticipantok, that helps. thanks
KaiParticipantadditional question: is it license-conform to edit the footer?
KaiParticipantdo you have an answer? is there a better support with pro-versions?
KaiParticipantdo you have an answer? i am waiting for 6 days…
KaiParticipanthi,
cms.rethorn.de
I changed the length-value in style.css, because the actual value is too short. Secondly, style switching to ‘uppercase’ in submenu titles is not good, I would change it to ‘none’, as it doesn’t look good in German, if every 1st letter is written uppercase.
And thirdly, there is a bug in displaying long (sub)menus on Tablets, e.g. iPads. The submenus are generated to the right hand side. If you have larger amounts of menu entries, the submenus are displayed out of the screen area and cannot be reached. In these cases, the menus must be displayed to the left side.Greetings
KaiKaiParticipantWorks perfectly, thanks!
KaiParticipantHi there,
I installed Breadcrumb NavXT, but unfortunately only the main menu item is displayed in the breadcrumbs, not the submenu item.
Look at cms.rethorn.de
If you chose Leistungen/Auslandsrentner the breadcrumb must be …>Leistungen>Auslandsrentner, but only …>Auslandsrentner is displayed.
I tried all configuration options, but without success. Where is the error?KaiParticipantThere is an error in the code, Daniel is right.
You have to change ‘Powered by’ and ‘Theme by’.KaiParticipantYou can use POEdit and edit the language file. Works fine.
KaiParticipantHi,
there is a general problem with translations. ‘Read more’, ‘Search’ and a lot of more expressions need to be translated in other languages.
Is it possible to edit the ultimate.pot file in the languages directory, eg. with POEDIT?Greetings from Germany,
