December 31, 2014 at 6:34 pm in reply to: Footer section disappeared with latest WordPress update #19962melindalippertParticipant
It turned out that it was a coincidence that I noticed the problem when I did the update. The root cause of this problem is that the older version of Revolution Slider allowed my site to be attacked. Right now I am unable to make the required update because it is bundled as part of the theme. Here is a background article that explains the problem.

When will you have the resolution? This is having a huge impact on my business. My site is completely down and has been since early December.melindalippertParticipantI have the exact same problem. My site was severely compromised and was taken over by malware. It has been completely out of commission since December 13th, 2014. Host Gator has cleaned the malware, but my site is disabled until I can get the latest update. Please give this matter immediate attention.

November 21, 2013 at 10:44 pm in reply to: Social icons and search box icon together in same line at the top of screen #5280melindalippertParticipantThe code you sent corrected the spacing enough so that it looks much better now. Thank you!
November 13, 2013 at 5:00 pm in reply to: adding text to the footer in the same space as copyright, etc #5142melindalippertParticipantThank you so much for the custom code! I added it, and with a few modifications, I was able to make it look exactly the way I wanted. Excellent!
November 13, 2013 at 4:58 pm in reply to: Problem with Revolution Slider showing on designated page. #5141melindalippertParticipantYes, I was using the shortcode automatically generated for that slider. I copied that shortcode and pasted it directly into the page where I wanted it and it wasn’t working. But this morning I had a moment of inspiration and I gave the slider a one-word alias name that was different than the title, copied the new shortcode, pasted it, and it worked! I guess it liked the 1-word alias much better. It’s all good now. I’ll remember this one for the future!
November 12, 2013 at 3:58 pm in reply to: adding text to the footer in the same space as copyright, etc #5113melindalippertParticipantThere is a “Coming Soon” landing page activated, but here is a temporary bypass link. http://www.melindalippert.com/shorttrialview
The text is entered in the “edit footer options” and is ready to go. It only spans 2/3 of the length of the footer and it is light and difficult to read. I’d so much appreciate the custom css to adjust these settings! And by the way, I love the look of the Clean Retina Pro!
