NOTE: I have simply “commented out” the “require_once………………update_notifier.php” line of code in the Theme Functions PHP file and problem solved.
Will restore the code when uploading to a live installation.
Running fine now locally- maybe this will shed some light on where your problem is originating anyway…..

December 27, 2013 at 10:27 pm in reply to: WordPress Warnings and poor functionality of WP Dashboard- all of a sudden…… #5821mgajorMemberJust FYI- I Switched themes to the “Twentyfourteen” theme just to see what happens- NO ERRORS and site runs fine.
Switched back to AttitudePro- all of the Warnings return above my Dashboard.
Switched back to “2014”, DELETED Attitude Pro theme, REINSTALLED it locally- and BAM- all of the errors returned again.
PLEASE HELP- I am losing valuable development time for my client’s website…………
mgajorMemberalso noticed a few PHP closing tags (?>) were missing here and there……..help-
mgajorMemberI “woke up” to the exact same list of warnings today- have been developing a client website locally using XAMPP and spent hours searching on how to fix every PHP error.
WP says it’s a theme issue……………
C’mon Theme Horse- we can’t be the only one’s dealing with this- what’s up????????????????????
I need to have this resolved for a client deadline like ASAP- thanks.
