That’s not color that’s an image that we have repeated on the background. If you don’t set the custom background then by default the grainy gray will appear. If you have set any thing in custom background then reset it to default.

The recent update of Nextgen has created a lots of conflict on most themes and plugins and they are working on it. This is a plugin related issue so you can ask them in their forum for better solution

Then create an empty page called “blog” first and go to settings->Reading->Front page displays->A static page (select below) and in the Posts page dropdown select the “blog” page you just created. Click save

Now when you view this page it will show your all posts. Now copy this page link and paste it in your featured box link.

If you had made changes directly to the parent theme, yes your changes will be lost when you update the theme. If you are making simple CSS changes you can use custom css box in our theme options panel to paste your css. Also the minimum requirement for a creating child theme is a style.css In the child style.css you can write css that you would like to override of parent.

For changing the php code you have to create the functions.php in your child theme then unhook the particular function of parent theme and hook your function with the changes.

Currently we don’t have such feature with our gallery. But you can utilize the tab button to group all the images under same category and filter it out according to the category as shown in our demo https://www.themehorse.com/preview/attitude-pro/gallery-four-column/
