Just go to text mode in your page. Then wrap the sentence like this
<h3 class="date-camp">Dates for 2014 Camp</h3>

Then go to Custom CSS in your theme options and paste this CSS

.date-camp {
    font-size: 20px;
}

You can change the px value.

This feature cann’t be achieved only through CSS change. You have tweak the PHP code. If you are comfortable at this you can go ahead but if you are not, I suggest you to hire a developer and make required changes.

You can use this plugin http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wp-display-header if you don’t want header image in any particular page.

You are right it works fine in 19 inch screen. But it will not work below 19 that covers all mobile devices and iPads too because the way featured text is shown in desktop view it’s not possilbe to display in smaller device as it will block the images in the slider.

Have you selected any page for the static home page.

Go to Settings->Reading->Front Page display->A static page (select below) and make sure on Front page dropdown you select a page that you will like to show in your home page.

Hi Alberts73,

This issue may be due caching that we have done in our theme for the slider. We have used Transient to cache the slider image and text so that it loads faster. You have to remove the transient coding part through child theme. It would be better if you hire some developer to achieve this.
