    P.S. Is there an example of the built-in slider (not the Revolution slider) anywhere in your Preview (demo)?

    Thanks,

    Thanks. I have read the theme instructions that you reference above several times, beginning to end. I have figured out how to make a basic slider work. Now I am trying to figure out how to use Revolution Slider. Revolution has even worse documentation, and videos without audio. I’m sure once you understand how it works, it all makes sense. But even trying to replicate your demo would be a huge task, because most of it is not documented.

    I’m still not sure what “business layout” (or template) is or what is different about it, but I have a static home page and that part seems to work ok. Is there somewhere that describes what the “business template” is and how it differs from other template pages, other than stating “Like our demo?” I can’t tell from looking at the demo what is specific to the “business page template” and what is 3rd party software like Revolution Slider and what is… well, you get the idea. Graphics or drawings would help your instruction page tremendously.

    Thanks,

    –Rich

    For now, I’ll leave the slider with bogus images running while I try to wrap my head around the Revolution slider.” So far, I have not been able to make a Revolution slider – I get ERROR: The slider that is template must be from gallery. WTF? This is incomprehensible to me, and I don’t think it’s just the poor grammar.

    Thanks for offering to help, though.

    The documentation for the Ultimate theme in general is very inadequate, and this forces the user to do a lot of testing and hacking to figure out how parts of the theme work. There is not even a good description of many of the features (e.g., “Featured Post/Page Slider”). It would be beneficial if you could make a demo that did NOT depend on / showcase other software, so that the user could see exactly what your software is capable of, as opposed to finding out after the fact that the demo was really featured someone else’s software. I’ve wasted almost a day trying to get many features to work – because they are not documented well, or because I discovered that they are not even a part of the Ultimate package, but were rather just a part of the demo. What I’ve gotten to work, works well, but the road has been needlessly painful.

    I agree – some instruction on using the revolution slider (or even describing what it does!) would save most users a lot of time. Revolution Slider is mentioned prominently in the marketing, but not at all in the instructions. 🙁 I looked at the demo, then was at a loss with how to do this with the Ultimate theme, as it’s simply not described. Even if the demo had the “features” labeled better it would be helpful.

    Overall, though, an excellent and versatile theme!

    I had the same issue with Pro, but only on the home page. A slightly different mod worked for me.

    h1.entry-title {
    display:none;
    }
