@Adam Go to the posts in the dashboard which you have used in the slider. There is a ‘Excerpt’ box under the post editor box. Try adding you summary there (along with formatting) and click on ‘Update’. Try this and see if this helps.
January 30, 2014 at 6:38 am in reply to: doesn't work with IExplorer 11 after activating it over Genesis theme #6971Sanjip ShahParticipant@Michael Is your question related to Attitude Pro theme or the Genesis theme? This forum is related to Attitude Pro theme. Can you make more clear what you are asking? Thanks.
Sanjip ShahParticipant@Flurin I could not completely understand your issue. Could you post a link to your site and describe the issue referring to the exact page link where you are facing this issue? Then I could provide better support to solve this.
Sanjip ShahParticipant@Mario You can use custom css for this. In the dashboard, go to Appearance->Theme Options->Design Options Tab->Custom CSS. Paste the following css and click on ‘Save all Changes’.
.single .default-wp-page { display: none; }
Sanjip ShahParticipant@Toppress Okay. Great.
Sanjip ShahParticipant@Vibor Okay. Great.
Sanjip ShahParticipant@Flurin In the pro version, go to Appearance->Theme Options->Design Options Tab->Color Options Bar. There is option to change the body background color and footer background color. Did you try that? The option Apppearance->Background is available only for the narrow layout both in attitude pro and free.
Sanjip ShahParticipant@rippergr Yes, for now I think you will have to go with some other themes if you need the left right sidebar in a page.
Sanjip ShahParticipant@Toppress 1/2 I guess this will help you for both your first and second questions. In the post editor screen in the dashboard, if you look around there is an ‘Excerpt’ option box where you add you summary, image links etc. This will help you to control the amount and content of the summary.
3. In the dashboard, you can go to Settings->Reading. There is this option Blog pages show at most. Set the number there and click on ‘Save Changes’. I hope this is what you are asking.Sanjip ShahParticipant@quinice85 The same thing is done inside this function attitude_theloop_for_template_blog_full_content for the blog full post content page template. You can see it and see if it helps. Also, on the other hand I don’t see a need for the ‘Read More’ option on the Pages. There is a ‘Excerpt’ option box in the page editor screen in the dashboard, this allows you to control the excerpt content and length. Try it out as well and see if this helps you.
Sanjip ShahParticipant@James Code customization can be complex as it is not a best practice to directly edit the theme file as you will lose the changes when you update the theme file. You can try this plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-posts-widget/. You can use this widget in the business sidebar (set the options to show the post title only, only 1 number of post and to order by date). Try it out and see if this helps.
Sanjip ShahParticipant@Vibor Okay. Please follow this instruction.
Log in to your dashboard.
Go to Appearance Menu.
Then to Theme Options sub menu.
Click on the ‘Advanced Options Tab’.
Click on the Excerpt Options bar.
You can add your own read more text there in ‘Read more text’ option.
Then click on ‘Save all Changes’.Hope this helps.
Sanjip ShahParticipant@uebes Thanks for sharing this information. Hope it will help others.
