I could not understand you first question. Do you want center align the text of the services widgets? If yes then in the dashboard go to Appearance->Theme Options->Design Options Tab->Custom CSS. Paste the following css and click on ‘Save all Changes’.

    margin-right: 60px;
    text-align: center;
}

You can increase or decrease the 60px value to shift the position as you like.

Then also if this does not fix this, go to individual post: say your this post http://anuneducatedpalate.com/2013/04/17/otto-review/. Look for the ‘Specific layout’ option and choose the default option there. Then update the post.

@alison-bigg I just visited your site. You are using the Clean Retina Pro theme and the sidebar is okay for the home, post and page. Is the issue still there? As for me it now looks all fine.

@jdbouch We have designed the theme that way, and it is called responsive design and is latest on the trend as it targets greater readability and visibility of the content in smaller devices respective of the screen size. For smaller screen the right sidebar will move just below the main content. You can also see our demo site in the Ipad and it is the same. Thanks.
