youtube links display correctly on firefox in preview mode but the screen shows a white space where the video should be once published and live.
Chrome is the same.

in preview mode it displays but with a width that is too wide for the content area
and in published (normal) viewing mode it does not display

I have inserted that css and it seems to make no difference
I have refreshed the cache etc etc.

i have
– redirect mobile visitors to AMP enabled
– I have AMP Settings>Template Mode>Reader>AMP Legacy theme enabled
(transitional and standard seem to make no difference)

yes this is still a problem
wordpress only allows the high level image to be set as a featured image

this plugin needs to uses the correctly scaled image AND the webp version

i dont think you will get this to work properly

there is some additional css you can add but that only partially works in my experience

that is not recommended fro AdSense either
i had massive problems with adsense

what you need to do is to install Google Site Kit for wordpress and connect to adsense with that. (I’ve just saved you 3 days of hassle there !!)
