Did you also check the plugins compatible with 8.0+ that you have used into your site?
Also are you using the latest version of the Ambition Pro theme, if not please update the theme to the latest version, you can get the latest version of the theme by login to our site with our own account.

Yes it shows the full size as those will be clear in retina devices (2x view) as well.

What you do is first login to your account and download the latest version of the theme then update it to your site.
If you have not renew your subscription first you need to renew your subscription to access the latest download file, you can see the pending renewal order into your account to renew the subscription if you have not.

Also WordPress released a new version with a new editor as a widget setting.
You can disable those features and get the standard edit setting by activating this Classic Widgets plugin. Just activate it and you will see the same settings for widgets as previous.
