As you know we have moved the Theme Option settings to customizer and we missed the some code for it.

To unfix the featured image login to your admin site and go to Appearance > Customize > Ambition Theme Options > Custom CSS and paste the following CSS code in the field and Click on Save & Publish button:

.featured-slider .featured-image {
    background-attachment: inherit;
}

To have the beginning way closer from the top of the content area login to your admin site and go to the Appearance -> Theme Options -> Design Options Tab -> Custom CSS paste the following CSS code and Click on save all changes button:

#main {
    padding-top: 30px;
}

If our demo site is working fine in the same environment then there is some issue by your side.
Did you customize any code?
Did you try installing the fresh copy of the theme?
If it does not fix your issue then please make you site live and share the site URL? Without viewing your site we can not say what is the main issue.

We are busy to move the Theme Options Settings to Appearance > Customizer as of WordPress guidelines. After this we will manage time to add this features but it takes some time. So be patient.

To set the Navigation elements bold Go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> Design Options Tab -> Custom CSS paste the following CSS code and Click on save all changes button:
